Every year the Board works with The Sydney Morning Herald to plan an HSC Study Guide that is relevant to the needs of HSC students, teachers and parents.
This year the emphasis is on:
- explaining the HSC marking process
- providing advice on the allocation of examination marks and sample questions from past papers
- providing relevant, practical tips for HSC students to enhance their preparations and make the most of their time in the examination room.
Current and past HSC students will also detail how they found their study:life balance.
Subjects highlighted in this year’s guide include:
- Visual Arts
- Business Studies
- Design and Technology
- Information Processes and Technology
- Legal Studies
- Ancient History
- Modern History
The guide will be published in The Sydney Morning Herald on 18 June 2012. The Board will also send copies to secondary schools across NSW for distribution to each HSC student.
The Board welcomes your feedback on the 2012 Sydney Morning Herald HSC Study Guide to inform future content decisions.
